Bodega Peñafalcón · Ribera del Duero, Spain
14 Años 2003
Made from Tempranillo grown on the high-altitude Santacruz, Carraovejas and La Blanquera plots in Peñafiel, where stony, limestone-rich soils concentrate the fruit. Dark cherry in color, with ripe fruit and vanilla alongside red and black berries, pastry, spice and balsamic notes. Soft, rounded tannins balance the acidity in a broad, velvety and persistent palate.
